N2  - Die Prinzipien des Projektmanagements befinden sich aufgrund der Einflüsse wirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen und der technologischen Entwicklung im Umbruch [Wills 1998 & Jons-son et al. 2001]. Die zunehmende internationalisierung, verkürzte Markteinführungszeiten (Time-to-Market), sich ändernde Arbeitskosten und die steigende Einbeziehung von Fachkräf-ten aus verschiedenen geografischen Standorten, treiben die Wandlungen der Projektland-schaft an [Evaristo/van Fenema 1999]. Resultierend daraus, wird die Nutzung kollaborativer Technologien ein entscheidender Faktor für den Erfolg eines Projektes [Romano et al. 2002]. Die bisherige Forschung zum Thema kollaborative Technologien für Projektmanagementzwe-cke, fokussiert vor allem die Entwicklung von modellartigen, allgemeingültigen Systemarchi-tekturen zur Eruierung der Anforderungen an ein speziell entwickeltes kollaboratives Projekt-managementsystem. Diese Arbeit untersucht die Herausforderungen und Vorteile, die aus der Einführung einer Standard-Business-Software als kollaboratives Projektmanagementsystem in einem mittel-ständischen Unternehmen resultieren.
N2  - The principles of project management are due to the influences of economic conditions and technological development in transition [Wills 1998 & Jonsson et al. 2001]. The increasing in-ternationalization, shortened time to market, changing labor costs and the increasing involve-ment of professionals distributed geographical locations are drivers of the transformations of the project landscape [Evaristo/van Fenema 1999]. Resulting from this, the use of collabora-tive technologies is a crucial factor for the success of a project. [Romano et al. 2002]. Previous research on the use of collaborative technologies for project management purposes focuses especially the development of model-like, universal system architectures to identify the requirements for a specially designed collaborative project management system. This thesis investigates the challenges and benefits that arise when an organisation imple-ments business software for the purpose of collaborative project management.
