This akademic Work presents a Particelsystem for firesimulation, as well as the required technics.(such as FBO's, VBO's, MRT, etc...). The Particelsystem is exclusively implemented on the GPU and is for this reason a GPGPU application. It uses the newest technichs, such as Vertexshader texturaccess. After a view over several different Particelsystemtypes, many of thiese technics are described, bevor the Implementation is focused.
